He searched for his son for years...

So he hops on his moped to chase them down. And he loses them.

But he decides, I'm not going to stop. I can't stop until I find my son.

So he asks people in his neighborhood. They tell him to go look in
this town. And then he goes to that town and gets tips in another
town.

This keeps going for days, months, and years. Dealing with highway
robbers, sleeping under bridges, and begging for money when he ran
out.

After traveling over 500,000 kilometers all across China and looking
for one person in a country with more than one billion for 24 years,
Guo found his son -- showing the true power of unconditional love.
